Author Bio: Alec's working life has been mainly in retail banking, then teaching bankers and finally as Deputy Head of the Business and Management Department in a college in Canterbury for nine years. He has been retired over twenty years (he's in his mid-eighties) which has enabled him to work as a volunteer for the Salvation Army (S.A.) of which he has been a member most of his life.
